Ready, Steady, Get planting!
This is the start of Tracy Paton’s Spekboom hedge idea, initiated before lockdown. This is part of a national initiative to reduce our carbon footprint. The original idea was to be a lovely social event with everyone planting before having a glass of wine. Now we all need to plant in isolation! Please plant your Spekboom plants this week as rain is predicted for Friday. There is a pink ruler on the site to use as the spacer between the plants. Post a photo if you would like to! You’ll find the site on the corner of Queen Victoria Street and Moore Street. Get planting!
