A huge big thank you to all villagers who have donated clothing and household goods to the SCORE swop shop project. It is most appreciated and your generous contributions allow for the success of this worthy project.
Kindly drop off all donations in black bags to the Tourism & Info Centre (please no longer to Pierre’s in Bezuidenhout St). Any clothing, household goods (especially linen, towels, mugs, glasses) and donations such as soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads and deodorant are always in short supply.
To Unemployed Youth/Young People, SCORE Swop Shop is looking for 2 volunteers to assist with Swop Shop sessions a few hours per month. Learn skills to earn a referral for your CV! To newcomers to Stanford, get involved as volunteers are needed to assist with sorting and marking during the week and twice per month serving inside the Swop Shop.
